Lenten Series: 2.14.18 Ash Wednesday
I don’t think it’s a coincidence that my initial Prayer and Protocel
journey began during the Lenten season of 2012. So, in honor of the miracle
that has been bestowed upon me, and the Lenten season upon us, my goal is
to try and update this blog every day for the next 40 days. If you're
reading this, I hope you'll share this page, tune in and tell your friends!
Prayer and Protocel is still working and I'm living proof that there is a
kinder, gentler, non-toxic, less expensive
alternative cancer treatment available that doesn't involve burning,
cutting or poisoning.
~Mathew
17:20 If
you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain,
“Move from here to there, “ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.

Series: 2.15.18 Quality of Life
When I first said ‘No more chemo’ 6 years ago, I had no idea what would happen.
All I knew is that I was sick of being bald, I was sick of mutilating my
body and I was sick of being sick.
What
God has given me with Protocel has surpassed any and all expectations. He
led me on this alternative journey which has kept my immune system strong,
my outlook (for the most part) positive and my cancer; “Stable”. Yes, I
still cycle in and out of remissions and
recurrences. Big deal. This seems to be the nature of my disease…but at
least it remains quite manageable and oh so very (very) hopeful!
Living,
working and loving…Quality of life really does matter.
~Matthew 6:16-18 But when you fast, put oil on your head and
wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to others that you are
fasting

Friday Fish Recipe
Today
is a new twist on an old favorite…A deconstructed fish taco (i.e. nachos!)
made with pan fried mahi-mahi, cabbage slaw, Pico, Cilantro dressing and
Hint of Lime™ tortilla chips.
And…you don’t have to use fish for this either….fajita steak, chicken
strips or even shrimp work equally well…but given its Friday and many are
looking for meatless dishes, I chose ‘Poor Man’s Lobster’ for my protein
and these little meaty chunks do not disappoint!
This
recipe is easy-peasy, has <1g of sugar, and only a small amount of
dietary vitamin C. It’s also very filling and delicious!
What
you’ll need:
·
Fresh
3oz/6oz Mahi-Mahi portions (about ½ to ¾ inch thick) Season with fiesta
seasoning (or even just salt and pepper will do nicely)
·
Sliced
raw cabbage (You can use lettuce, but I like the crunch of cabbage)
·
Pico
with onions, green peppers and cilantro (I get it pre-made in the produce
section)
·
Tostitos
Hint of Lime™ Tortilla chips (these are awesome and go with everything!)
·
Cilantro
dressing: I like Lighthouse brand Cotija Cilantro
Dressing and Dip found in the refrigerated section of the Produce section.
·
Shredded
Cheddar or Pepper Jack cheese if desired. (Go a little crazy)
Pre
heat a skillet to medium high with a tablespoon of olive oil.
Add the seasoned Mahi Mahi Portions and pan sear
on each side (without moving them) for about 3 minutes each. Now take your spatula and halve and then
quarter the portions. Toss them
around in the pan until they have finished cooking. You can cover the pan for the last minute
to ensure doneness and moistness without toughness.
The
fish pieces should rest on a cutting board like a steak…so, while they’re
resting, start to plate medium size pasta bowl with layers of the tortilla
chips, cabbage, followed with the cooked mahi-mahi and then sprinkle pico on top….finish by drizzling
the cilantro dressing over everything.
I just so happened to have had an apricot in my fridge, so I put a
couple of slices on for color but anything else you may have….olives or
grapes would also pair well.
Enjoy!
~1Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under
God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.

Teeth Staining
It’s
the weekend (my work week) so it might be a little light on my daily write
;)
Today is a very important tip:
KEEP
YOUR PEARLY WHITES–WHITE BY RINSING YOUR MOUTH WELL AFTER PROTOCEL!
Yes,
Protocel stains your teeth. The good
news is; If you immediately rinse your mouth, you can prevent this! (Game changer!)
I am
now in the habit of taking a dose of Protocel and immediately
rinsing/swishing/spitting no less than 3 mouthfuls of water
afterwards. That’s how long it takes
to finally rinse clear.
This
is another inconvenient truth about the middle of the night dose. No longer is it ‘wake, shake and
take’. Now it’s:
wake-shake-take-rinse-pee-repeat…so that’s kind of a bummer. My daughter suggested straws. I’m going to say no to that just based on
the wrinkle factor alone. Maybe for
the middle of the night dose, a straw might work…but seriously, if I were a
chemist, I would be making a Protocel pill prototype in my spare time for
sure!
I
guess in the big scheme of things, it really is a very small bitch to
have. (Amen and Amen!)
~Mark 1:13 And
He was in the wilderness forty days being tempted by Satan; and He was with
the wild beasts, and the angels were ministering to Him.

Lenten Series: 2.19.18 Keep the Faith
When I
drive to work, there is a particular landmark that finds me (every time).
It is a large, simple white cross on top of a little white church off to
the West of the 101. It perfectly aligns with a certain road sign, so that
when I’m even-steven at that point on that overpass…all I need to do is
look to the right and I see that comforting cross, and it gives me strength.
Some
days…like yesterday, it was pitch black out and I couldn't see the
beautiful cross...but it didn’t matter. My gaze still went in that
direction and the unmistakable feeling of being filled with the Holy Spirit
assured me that it was there.
Having faith to embark on an
alternative cancer treatment like Protocel is a little like not being able
to see that cross. I believe it’s out there…I can feel its strength and I
have confidence that God will always give me hope.
~Hebrews 11:1 Faith in Action 11 Now faith is confidence in what
we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

Lenten Series: 2.21.2018 Lottery Winner?
A date with
my 30-something Oncologist didn’t go much different than how I imagined. I
already had the results of my 2/8/18 PET scan (because that’s how we roll
in Arizona…you just go pick them up the next day and hope for the best) so
he wasn’t going to tell me anything that I hadn’t already read. The general
impression across the board is: Grossly Stable. (As opposed to grossly
unstable…HaHa)
In medical
terms, gross is defined as: The ability to see with the naked
eye/obvious and apparent. It’s obvious the back marble continues to hang
around…but it’s not getting any bigger so YaY for
gross. The other little chest wall nodules aren’t lighting up like they
were 6 months ago and they don’t seem to be causing any trouble at all, so
that is a win! It’s possible they could even be ‘dying’ nodules/scar tissue
which would be awesome!
“Like I’ve told you before,
you’ve won the lottery!” He said with a high five. He’s a great cheerleader
and I’m sure he’s a wonderful comfort to many, but I didn’t win the
lottery. And by inferring that I have, is saying that I am one in a million
or that luck had 100% to do with my survival…and we all know that is simply
not true. God gets ALL the glory for Protocel and the many people out there
who have success with it, myself included.
In any event, what he wants
for me is “The Standard of Care of 2018”: Burn the marble. I understand
that radiation is modern medicine’s answer to my problem and I accept and
appreciate that this would be his recommendation…because really, if I
wanted a doctor who is going to go rogue, then I was in the wrong place.
But it turns out, I was in the absolute right place because God was in our
midst allowing conventional systems to be ‘grossly’ aware of the power of
Prayer and Protocel!
I’ll meet
with a Radiologist next week and find out how he answers my questions and
handles my concerns. When the risks outweigh the benefits, I’ll most
certainly continue to rely on Prayer and Protocel since that’s working just
fine. Maybe not at gamma-knife-speed-rate-fine, but in this case, slow and
steady seems to be key. And since 'most of us'
agree I’m not playing the lottery, why on earth would I want to play
Russian roulette (or any roulette for that matter…Yikes)
~Zephaniah 3:17 "The Lord, your God, is in your midst,
a Mighty Savior, who will rejoice over you with gladness, and renew you in
His love."

Lenten Series: 2.22.2018 Tamarisk Tree
I was
listening to Family Life Radio the other day, and the topic was quite
fascinating. It was all about how Abraham immediately planted a Tamarisk
tree after his treaty was made with God that he would become the father of
many nations.
Why a
Tamarisk tree?
According to ‘God as a
Gardner’ (the website by the same name) “The tamarisk tree provides shade
and pleasant coolness.” However, it literally takes years and generations
for it to reach its full 50 feet of glory.
What a
commitment! Abraham knew it was likely that this tree would be for his
children’s children, their grandchildren and great (great)
grandchildren…they would be the ones to benefit from this gift…not him. It
would also serve as a long standing memorial of the covenant that he and
God shared. How awesome is that?
When I’m
long gone, I hope that Beating Cancer Without Breaking a Sweat will be my
symbolic tamarisk tree. The information found here allows my testimony to
be available to anyone who chooses to read it and honors my own personal
commitment to God to share my story. I am blessed to have lived this
miracle and I believe miracles deserve to be shared! (and
planted!)
~Genesis 17:4 -21:33 4 "As for Me, behold, My covenant
is with you, And you will be the father of a multitude of nations. 21:33 Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in
Beersheba, and there he called on the name of the LORD, the Eternal God.

Lenten Series 2.23.18 How to Eat
When this
formula (Protocel) became popular over 60+ years ago, (Yes, it's been
around that long) the common advice was to 'Eat like your grandparents
ate." Well, given the amount of time that has passed and the fact that
I am a (new) grandmother myself, this mantra takes on a whole new meaning.
I know I consumed a lot of TV dinners and white bread (with peanut-butter
and brown-sugar chasers) when I was growing up and I certainly don't want
my grandchildren thinking that's okay. Maybe it's time to change this to:
Eat like they did during the true Little House on the Prairie days when
foods were fresh and wholesome. I'm pretty sure this is the time period
James Sheridan was speaking of when he gave away bottles and bottles of
Protocel to those with cancer. (and he did too!
Praise God!)
Today…we are inundated with
monster drinks, vitamin water and energy shots. You can even walk in to an
“IV bar” in Phoenix, sit in a recliner and receive a Vitamin C intravenous
drip! If we keep on this ‘eat like your grandparents ate’ path
we are truly in for some disappointing Protocel results down the road!
Supplementing
your diet with these types of added vitamins and minerals (especially
Vitamin C) are not compatible with Protocel. Protocel kills cancer because
it lowers the voltage to those cells. When you add energy to cancer, this
increases cellular activity…and well, you can see where that could be
problematic.
Given our
current situation, the best advice for today is to shop at farmers markets
and the perimeter of grocery stores. Go for chemical free, organic fruits
and veggies…lean organic grain fed proteins and non-processed foods…and try
not to stress too much about dietary Vitamin C. Sure, you don’t want to sit
down to a big ol’ bowl of roasted bell peppers or a heaping portion of
steamed broccoli, but do remember that moderation is key. I also choose to
be sugar free and I think that helps quite a lot as well…Sugar is not on
the forbidden list…it just makes beating cancer that much easier!
~Daniel 2:21 He changes times and seasons; He removes kings
and sets up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who
have understanding

Series: 2.24.2018 Packin’ Protocel
Look
how easy it is to take Protocel to work! (So Easy!)
I’ve
come a long way (baby) from toting around Tupperware sippy cups and green
plastic 7-up bottles where ever I went. The idea was to always keep the
prepared Protocel in a light resistant container and then be able to
‘nonchalantly’ (lol seriously...with a sippy cup?!?) take a dose when I
needed to.
This is how I’ve evolved 6
years later…..Miniature water bottles discreetly stored in my purse. I
reuse them until I can’t anymore. I usually place 3-4 pre-made bottles in a
Ziploc reusable freezer bag…because my nice purses have learned the hard
lessons for you!!!
This
method is actually very trim and streamlined and gives me no excuses to not
take Protocel to work or wherever. And hey, it’s dark in there…so no
special equipment is necessary!
Just
make sure to rinse (!)

Lenten Series: 2.26.2018 Lymph and
Lysing
Well, I’m
going to recycle an old blog from 2012 just because I’m feeling a little
lazy today! It’s a good topic though…Intro to Lymph and Lysing, [originally
published on 12-2-2012]
________________
The
Lymphatic System often gets a bad rap when it causes lymphedema; but under
normal circumstances it's actually a very cool part of human anatomy and
physiology...and it plays a very important part in my Protocel success
story. The main function is to collect and transport fluids from all over
the body back to the blood stream...Think of a cheese cloth where fluids
and particles get pressed through layers of tissue that end up flowing in
to a river of lymph (plasma without protein). This then merges back with
the veins and arteries and starts the bathing and nourishing process all
over again. But that's not all it does...The lymph system also carries
brand new manufactured white blood cells to the front lines of war zones
for attacking and defending my body (Immune System). It even picks up extra
troops (i.e. large enzymes) from their manufactured sites to aide in the
nourishment and repair for the wounded. Isn’t that amazing?
While I’m
taking Protocel, I’m knocking the bad guys down left and right…and, I’m
bringing in more reinforcements who happen to have supplies with them!
(Take that cancer!) However, it's the waste management of the lymph system
that makes me stand up and take notice that Protocel is working. Clusters
of lymph nodes (or what I like to refer to as baskets) are concentrated in
various areas of my body like my throat, underarms, groin and knees and that's
where I could feel the swelling of filtration happening.
Protocel
starves my cancer of energy, breaks their cell walls apart and kills
them...this is referred to as lysing. The actual lysed material is the
byproduct of those broken dead cancer cells. This debris is what makes up
the gunky stuff that is being dumped into my lymph river and poured in the
baskets. It didn’t take me long to figure out the importance of drinking
water because it’s truly uncomfortable to have my lymph stuck in a traffic
jam. Things weren’t flowing as freely as it once did...instead it became
thick and slow. The ‘basket’ under my left arm went into
collection-overdrive but this was unique for me because they stripped out
the cluster of nodes under my right arm 2 years ago…so I am a little
compromised without all my baskets available.
The key for
successful removal was not letting the lysed collection get to the point of
being painful. Water, water and more water...plus my frequent use of the
rebounder for just 10 minutes in the morning helped jump start (literally)
the flow of lysed material. I’ve also blogged excessively about Yoga and I
can’t imagine this going any better for me without the benefits of downward
facing dog. Great way to get optimal drainage.
This act of lysing with its lysed material (barely cooked egg white
consistency) would come out of my body anywhere there was an opening. My
eyes were matted shut almost every morning and my ears drained excessively
with twice as much wax as usual....those were the first signs. In addition
to this, I had major hot flashes (the skin is a huge conduit for toxins
exiting your body) and sometimes I would be completely drenched. But the
visual proof was seeing mucus in my stools. It's really not as gross as it
sounds except that I was always a courtesy flusher, and because I wanted to
know if I was lysing, I had to take a peek. (so
yes, that's a little gross.)
Since I had
cancer on my chest wall, I could also feel the lymph fluid resting heavy
around my upper chest area. I was fortunate to have my cancer in an area
that is on the main drag for lymph traffic. Had I had bladder or brain
cancer (or any place for that matter) where the channels are narrow...it's
possible it would have been even more uncomfortable and perhaps taken more
time... but I'm certain that would have still been quite manageable.
I drink
plenty of water, rebound and yoga often because I have to ensure that my
great un-sung hero; the Lymphatic System - continues to be a major player
in my overall good health.
~Epheisans 4-16: From him the
whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows
and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

Radiation Crash Course
I met with
my young and brilliant Radiation Oncologist yesterday and I received a lot
of information that I need to let sink in.
This doctor
has heard of Protocel, understands how Protocel works and would even
consider taking it himself (in addition to conventional medicine) which I
think this is awesome news that he would agree to use it all!
He is also
the first doctor to do the due diligence and pull up all 4 scans, at
once…like a window pane. This display of 4 side by side marble comparisons
was a little bit of an eye opener. Sure it may appear to be ‘grossly
stable’ from one scan to the most previous one, but when you look at the
whole big picture, it’s just been slowly getting bigger and bigger…
It seems as
though this increase has gone undetected just like a gradual 20 pound
weight gain… when you see someone every day you don’t notice these
subtleties…it’s when you don’t see them for a while that makes you stand
back and go ‘whoa’.
When a scan
is read each time by someone different and who is only going back one film
earlier…well let’s just say I don’t think that sounds like a lottery win.
He admits
that I’ve had excellent results with Protocel on the chest wall nodules and
the hilar node…but that for whatever reason, the
marble is not responding. This cancer could have mutated itself for
protection and then next (he fears) it will be pollinating, colonizing to a
new location, and may even break through the skin next. (Yikes)
So, like I
said…I have a lot to consider and a lot to pray about. I don’t have the
window pane photo but I did take a picture of the screen of my current
situation and now that he taught me how to read these discs, I was able to
find my cd from 10/16 and put them side to side. I’ll add the photo to a
reply to this message so that facebook doesn’t consider this entire post a
photo (posts>photos)
Tune in
tomorrow as I try and determine if the benefits outweigh the risks. It’s
still only 2 cm big (about an inch in diameter), but still….if this little
bad boy grew that much in 1.5 years, what is going to happen in the next 6
months?

my soul longs for You, O God."

Lenten Series 2.28.18 Radiation 202
We last
left off with Doogie (young and brilliant)
sharing the grim reality that my marble has not been responding quite like
I thought it has over this past year and a half. Now that I’m fully
informed, I’m considering going through with this photon therapy treatment.
(This is not the expensive proton therapy that those with prostate cancer
undergo…this is one that is a fraction of the cost.)
So…
Question/Objection
#1: How can I be ensured that the beamage will
not penetrate through the tumor and hit a major artery, organ or bone?
Answer:
Because I will be receiving ‘palliative’ radiation, the voltage is 60% of
what someone who is newly diagnosed would receive. (That doesn’t seem fair
and maybe even a bit discriminatory but okay) The other thing he said was
that in ‘his’ world, they deal in millimeters…and with my tumor being 2cm
or about an inch in diameter…and coupled with the fact that the nearest
vital anything is a whole centimeter away, there really is virtually no
chance of this happening.
Question/Objection
#2: What is going to happen when the beamage
burns through my skin and the tumor breaks free? I live alone and it’s not
exactly in a location where I can easily reach it and/or treat myself.
Answer: “If
that happens, I will personally come to your house and perform your dressing
changes! I am that confident that will not occur.” WoW!
I need that in writing! But
seriously, if he is that sure that my worst fear will not happen, then I
may be crazy not to consider this. I think he compared the amount of
wattage to a light bulb and that the most I could expect would be a 'light sunburn'.
Question/Objection
#3: If you are going to zap the marble and shrink it to nothing in that
short period of time, who’s to say that my immune system will not notice
that their mother-ship tumor is being attacked and then may erroneously go
preserve a part of the tumor for safe keeping (like in a bone or in my
brain) or even allow the nodules that have been drying out to wake up
again?
Answer:
“Actually, the opposite of what you think is true. We have learned from
immunology that that is not what happens. “ My immune system should (with
the operative word being ‘should’) recognize the antigens on any future
tumors that are zapped away and he feels pretty strongly that once it’s
gone I may never have a recurrence again. [If only] The good news is I can and will continue
to use Protocel throughout the entire course of this treatment and beyond.
I’ve talked
to my family, my kids, and my nearest and dearests and everyone is so
supportive with whatever I decide. My oldest gave me my best material back
at me… “It’s not Protocel alone that’s helping you…its Prayer first and
foremost. Radiation is just one more tool in the box. Radiation doesn’t
negate Protocel’s legitimacy…quite the opposite. It may just reinforce it.
Out of the
mouths of babes.

I will listen to you."

Lenten Series: 3.01.18 Hope
Well thank
you everyone for your prayers and for your hope and encouragement too! I
have some logistics to work through and then I’ll probably be going forward
with hope in this ‘new tool’.
It’s
interesting what hope does for people. I was always (and still am!) plenty
hopeful about Prayer and Protocel…but now it seems I’m hopeful for western
medicine too - which leads me to ask: Is it true that when you get to this
point in the disease process that anything they throw at you suddenly looks
hopeful? (I hope that’s not it!)
And even though this new hope
is strategically wrapped up in a palliative care bow, I think my Radiation
Oncologist may be a little more hopeful about my case than he’s letting on
to be. (!) I’m not your typical end of life/stage IV comfort
radiation/shrink the tumor so it doesn’t hurt anymore patient – He doesn’t
have to give that comfort speech to me…he gets to be the giver of hope!
And as a
hope recipient, I am giving all the glory to God that our paths have
crossed…which makes me even more hopeful that he can get rid of this
freaking marble once and for all. (We’ve fooled around long enough)
Bonus points for how many
times I said hope or hopeful!

Series: 3.02.18 Shrimp Scampi
Well
enough about yesterday and yesterdays doom and gloom...Yikes!
On to a different topic...
Here
it is, another Friday in sunny AZ, and I'm thinking everyone is waiting for
that great meatless recipe! (HaHa) I’m going to
share one today that also involves a shout out to my local food store ‘Frys’. Frys is a
Kroger-company-grocery brand and they have a new product called Prep+Pared®. (I’m not sure if they’re available in all
cities/stores but it would be worth it for you
to find out if they’re in yours!)
These
are very similar to the dinner box subscriptions you’ve probably seen on TV
or the internet: ‘Meal kits that offer even the best home chefs an
opportunity to prepare fresh, healthy-gourmet dishes without having to shop
all over the store for the ingredients’ And, unlike the subscription
packages, I can cancel anytime by simply not placing it in my basket!
So
I decided to try the Shrimp Scampi and it was delicious! This recipe box is
enough for two people or it feeds one person with plenty of leftovers for
the next day. Skip the fresh squeezed lemon (or use only 1/2) and it
becomes Protocel compliant. 20 minutes and some nice crusty whole wheat
bread later, this turned out to be a fantastic dinner option that will be
great for lunch tomorrow.

Lenten Series: 3.03.2018 Secrets to
Success
Time to recycle
another oldie but goodie! It brings me peace and happiness to re-read my
old stories (and my own advice) about how prayer and Protocel worked for
me. I love that I was in radical remission for 4 years...and this is so
amazing in itself! Of course I want that again, so sometimes reminders like
this post…can never be a bad thing!
________________
The 8
Secrets to My Protocel Success (Originally posted: 05/08/2015)
1. I
believed it would work. I prayed, I believed and I had faith that
alternative, cancer-curing Protocel was the answer for me. Just as God gave
direction to James Sheridan when he developed Protocel in the 1930’s, I
felt the same ‘marching orders’ to cure my cancer and spread the word. It
didn’t matter that there were an astonishing amount of people who were not
convinced. I was, and that was the important thing. I had to remain
steadfast and strong…all the while keeping a positive attitude when
screaming and throwing things certainly seemed more appropriate. Prayer,
prayer and more prayer…and the miracle was there for the taking.
2. I didn’t
waste any time. Look at the calendar. When I was initially diagnosed with
cancer there were sometimes spans of 2-3 week periods where I was hopping
from this specialist to the next…waiting for testing or to recover from any
given procedure. I actually had a considerable waiting period after my
second cancer diagnosis because of a scheduled surgery - but before round 2
of chemo. It was during that critical time-frame that I took advantage of
being chemical free and gave Protocel a five-week head start to work. My
Protocel sweet spot happened in a relatively short period and I saw signs
of lysing (dead cancer cells) within days of my initial dose. Praise God I
also had measurable results as indicated by surface tumor regression. I’m
just so thrilled that instead of sitting home twiddling my thumbs, waiting
for my next medical appointment, I was able to take action and make a
complete 360° change in my outcome.
3. I
continued to have conventional diagnostics. Even though I jumped off the
conveyor belt of traditional cancer treatments, I still went through the
investigative/labeling process. This allowed me to continue to be followed
by my physicians and *ultimately* get their blessing that what I was doing was
the right thing. In fact, since November of 2012, I have had bi-annual PET
scans that prove I don’t have any cancer left. Having scientific-based
evidence to back up my claims, gives merit to my story and strength to my
decisions. There was no way my doctors could deny that it was working and I
was able to continue taking Protocel without a lot of pushback. I continue
to see my Oncologist on a regular basis. It seems to give us both a sense
of clarity.
4. I gave
up sugar. A sugar-free lifestyle is just that…a lifestyle. When I learned
that cancer feeds on sugar, it wasn’t all that hard to stop. Give me a good
terminal diagnosis any day and watch how quickly I can comply. I started
small by eliminating pop/diet pop and then moved on to cutting out desserts
and candy. After a little more than a week, I really wasn’t missing sugar
or craving it all that much…until eventually, refusing it became second
nature. Oh, and a bonus? I lost 20 pounds and kept it off. I still have to
be careful though; I like beer and chips (okay, pizza too) but moderation
is key. I try not to stress too much about my diet and keep my sugar grams
under 10 per day. Refuse to feed the cancer.
5. I did
not mix Protocel with any other treatments. I was all in. I said no to
chemo and radiation or any other modern medical treatment in conjunction
with the Protocel protocol. I figured Protocel deserved the same amount of
time and respect that is given to any other clinical trial. How could I
accurately gauge if this was working when I was adding therapies to the
regime? If the doctors wanted to pull out a new treatment option from their
arsenal bag of tricks every 3 months, I argued (effectively) that Protocel
should get the same equal opportunity in the rotation.
6. I didn’t
wait until I was out of options. When I first heard the words that I was
stage IV, I actually felt physically strong enough to withstand just about
anything they wanted to give me…I certainly didn’t feel like I was dying.
It was only after I took chemo dose #3 that I started to lose the battle.
Seriously, I didn’t even have good results from that cycle…as a matter of
fact, I had new disease progression! If I had kept on that path, I surely
would not be here writing to you today. Instead, I didn’t look at Protocel
as a ‘last resort’ but rather as my first round draft pick… I had to be the
captain of my ship and make a decision to turn that vessel around before we
smashed into the reef.
7. I never
went over 6 hours between Protocel doses. Frequency is a big deal. While in
the throes of cancer I was taking Protocel at least every 5 hours…sometimes
4. NEVER more than 6. It’s amazing how acutely aware of the time I was…even
minutes before my alarm went off. My body knew it was Protocel time and I
listened. Compliance was crucial. Yes it was extremely easy and amazing,
and yes it tastes like life…but it’s not magic. I had to follow some very
explicit rules: Avoid Vitamin C and other dietary supplements and
never-ever (ever) skip a dose. Even in the middle of the night…I wake,
shake and take my Protocel that I have premixed sitting at my bedside. It’s
become a routine, a habit and a way of life.
8. I
educated myself. But I didn’t let it bog me down. There are many other
natural alternative options out there but I found that learning about every
single one of them was just too much noise. I needed to focus. I chose
Protocel for a number of reasons: It had the most anecdotal success
stories, it was the least expensive and it didn’t involve coffee enemas!
(lol) I learned everything I could about it… How to take it, how to eat,
how to yoga, how to sleep. All Protocel all the time. The happily ever
after is, I am alive and healthy and here to tell my story and it’s
available to anyone who wants to read it.
~Romans 12-2: be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--His good,
pleasing and perfect will.

Now, you
may have to admit, Lauren Daigle really does sounds like Adele in this
song! (Yes? No?) I promise not to keep trying to convince you! lol Powerful music though for sure.
Enjoy on this Blessed Sunday! ~When we sing, we pray twice!!
Lyrics
Though times it seems
Like I'm coming undone
This walk can often feel lonely
No matter what until this race is won
I will stand my ground where hope can be found
I will stand my ground where hope can be found
Oh, O'Lord O'Lord I know You hear
my cry
Your love is lifting me above all the lies
No matter what I face this I know in time
You'll take all that is wrong and make it right
You'll take all that is wrong and make it right
Your
strength is found
At the end of my road
Your grace it reaches to the hurting
Still through the tears and the questioning why
I will stand my ground where hope can be found
I will stand my ground where hope can be found
Oh, O'Lord O'Lord I know You hear
my cry
Your love is lifting me above all the lies
No matter what I face This I know in time
You'll take all that is wrong and make it right
You'll take all that is wrong and make it right
(Right,
so right)
Make it right
(Right, so right)
Make it right, right
I will
stand my ground
I will stand my ground
I will
stand my ground where hope can be found
I will stand my ground where hope can be found
Oh! O'Lord O'Lord I know You hear
my cry
Your love is lifting me above all the lies
No matter what I face this I know in time
You'll take all that is wrong and make it right (take all what is wrong)
You'll take all that is wrong and make it right
(Right,
so right)
Make it right

Lenten Series 3.05.18 New Hurdles
Well, I’ve
run into a small snafu with my medical coverage for radiation. Sigh. It’s
just all so frustrating. I finally acquiesce to do what they want, and then
I get blind-sided with an insurance issue.
So now I’ll
wait to hear from Doogie’s office about (well,
you know)…a deal….because maybe for once, playing this palliative card
isn’t the worst thing in the world if it comes with free parking(!)
But no worries…During our
initial consultation, and while I was vacillating back and forth on what to
do, he said the marble was not growing at such an aggressive rate that a
couple of months would make that big of a difference…so that’s encouraging.
In the meantime, I’m power
dosing like crazy, making plans for the future (which may or may not
include moving back to Canada for free healthcare.) and feeling no
different than I did yesterday. I truly have no fear with His direction (or
timeline) and will simply live for today. It certainly is much easier that
way!
~Matthew 6:34 “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow,
for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own
trouble.

Lenten Series: 3.06.18 Pets Too!
Some of my facebook
friends are struggling with their pets being diagnosed with cancer.
Protocel has anecdotal evidence that this formula works well for cats, dogs
and even horses too! There is an entire section dedicated to this topic in
Tanya Harter Pierce’s book: 'Outsmart Your Cancer' and I’ve also blogged
about it in the past.
Sometimes
pets can show us more about the power of Prayer and Protocel than even our
own tendencies to turn to conventional medicine can…As a collective human
species, we are less inclined to spend as much on our furry friends as we
are on our own healthcare. Plus, we are very motivated to not see our pets
suffer (at all) so Protocel is the perfect win-win solution! Your Vet bill
might be ‘expensive’, but in the big scheme of things, a round of chemo for
Fido is a lot less than it would be you or I. If it’s going to cost $800.00
for pet poison, then why not spend 150.00 for better results and have a pet
who doesn’t even realize he’s sick?
The most
challenging piece of the Pet - Protocel - Protocol,
may be the frequency dosing schedule itself. This is still a vital portion
of the program that cannot be glossed over. So what happens when you're at
work all day and your pet stays home like most pets do? He/She
isn’t getting the Protocel they need, when they need it.
I think there may be
alternatives to this now, what with Doggie Day-care and pet sitting
services available most everywhere. Get creative! I bet you
can come up with all sorts of solutions! (And here's hoping there is at
least one aspiring shark tank inventor out there who will give us a
Protocel Dispensing System Prototype!)
In any event, If you can get
past that ‘how-often hurdle’ then I would definitely call and speak with a
Naturopath at any of the Protocel locations to get accurate dosing
instructions for your mammal pets. A small cat/lap dog requires less of an
amount than a full grown German Shepard or a 2,200 pound horse would...but
I would still venture to say it will be more economical in the long
run...especially for the Kat!
~Isaiah 40:11 Like a shepherd He will tend His flock, In His
arm He will gather the lambs And carry them in His bosom; He will gently
lead the nursing ewes.

Lenten Series 3.07.18 More Delays
Now that
radiation therapy is temporarily on the ‘back burner’ (heh) I’ve decided
there is no sense in worrying about the logistics of it all and just have
the faith that everything will sort itself out….
When I
spoke to the scheduling office, his consult notes…written before the
insurance issue…indicated I wanted to stay on this alternative path for 3
more months - but if I changed my mind [or had symptoms] I could call up at
any time. That is partially true.
I think he
was planning on me refusing from the get-go (me too) and although he took
the time to convince me…Making up an actual treatment plan wasn’t part of
that visit. I left there saying I would talk it over with my family and
make a decision…I did and I did. How was he to know I would say yes that
quickly? The irony of it all is I really could be in Canada right now
because the man is busy and it’s going to take time to get me in, ‘map me
out’ and determine my therapy.
This
‘delay’ is actually quite interesting to me…Don’t forget, this is the
doctor who told me that he knows about Protocel, knows how Protocel works
and even said he would consider taking it himself! Maybe he knows something
I don’t.
Or…maybe he
knows something I do! What if he thinks I CAN power through this and just
wants to see this for himself? He’s young! Maybe
he wants to change his major!
Or, does he
think…it really doesn’t matter if we do it now or later, because when we’re
at the point of palliative radiation it’s probably going to end badly
either way. Of course we don’t want that, and I hope that’s not what he
thinks…but I also don’t want to be in denial either. If we’re going to do
this, I need to get on the books.
What I do
know for certain, is that when I left his office he told me to be sure and
let him know if the marble was changing [as in getting larger or causing
problems] it’s not, and it hasn’t…so for now we’re okay. If he is confident
enough to document a follow up in 3 months or sooner (PRN) then I guess I
am too. We’ll figure it out.

He cares for those who trust in him

Lenten Series 3.08.2018 Spam
I have no
idea how I got on Mayo Clinic’s e-mail list, but I have... So, I’ve decided
to make the most of it. Now, each time (at least 3xweek) I get a
promotional email from them, I reply back with some random beatingcancer words of wisdom…whether it’s a bible
scripture, a recent blog, a link to James Sheridan or even a one liner
about ‘Don’t forget to take your Protocel!’ someone at Mayo clinic is
getting these messages.
And I know
what you’re thinking…Kat….it just going into a massive spam filter box so don’t
waste your time…Well that may be partly true, but I do know something about
reading html source code [a little gift God gave me years ago] and I
understand that if I alter just one character in that address line…Well,
let’s just say I can ensure all my responses are going to a real mailbox
and not a bot….and I am having so much fun taking a page out of Jerry
Seinfeld’s playbook for telemarketers that I crack myself up! Now I will
just sit back and wait for them to Unsubscribe me! HA!
On a more serious note
though, I do hope and pray that the person on the receiving end of this

about Prayer and Protocel…because why not? Even folks at Mayo need miracles

Lenten Series: 3.12.2018 Protocel
Siblings
When I
began this alternative cancer journey back in 2012, I learned that men,
women, children, parents…folks from all walks of life …were relying on
Prayer and Protocel to cure the many strains and mutations of the beast
which weren’t always about pink ribbons and breasts.
The common denominator was
that we were all children of God, which translated (for me) into ‘Protocel
Siblings’, and that’s how that word came to be!
I used to keep a Protocel
Sibling Excel Spread Sheet…but truthfully, just keeping up with all the
survivors or those who succumbed to this disease was an overwhelming task
and I’m sad to say it fell by the way side. I would try and mark those who
were doing well on it and with what kind of cancers…which formula they were
using (more on this tomorrow) or even what their blood type was.
What I did
learn from my rudimentary spread sheet is that no matter what kind of
cancer they were facing… Those who turned to Prayer and Protocel
immediately after they heard the words uttered: “you have cancer” (or as
soon as they realized their current treatment wasn’t working) had the best
outcomes. Those who waited until the 11th hour did not. That’s the bottom
line and that’s the main take away for today.
Protocel
was not designed as a last-resort cancer treatment. Don’t wait months or
years for your doctor to tell you they’re sorry but they did everything
they could and you should go home now and get your affairs in order.
Protocel won’t work then. It’s not palliative. I’m going to go out on a
limb here and say it is ‘counter-palliative’! Yikes! Lysing that much
cancer is a bitch and can prove to be even more miserable than everything
you’ve experienced that consequently has led up to a terminal status.
[*side
note: In the unusual event, that someone is diagnosed right out of gate
with Stage IV cancer (of any kind) has ‘virgin’ DNA because it has not been
altered. That’s called a wild card and one I would pursue with Prayer and
Protocel in a heartbeat…because why not? What do you have to lose?]
Prayer and
Protocel really do work…and many respond relatively quickly to this
protocol which only supports and strengthens the decision to continue on
this path. It works best if the cancer is found early and is staged low. It
works as a complimentary treatment and it works as maintenance…it just
doesn’t work if it’s too late.

Variance
To confuse
Protocel’s story even further, there are two formulas to choose from.
Protocel 23 or Protocel 50. Each has a rich history and each has
potentially exciting outcomes. It’s important to note that the original
formula Protocel 23 or Entelev (‘That part of man
known only to God’) was the conception of James Sheridan (1912-2001) in the
‘30’s following instruction he received from God in a recurring dream.
Years later, Protocel 50 (Cancell), a shoot off
of 23, evolved as a result of a collaboration with
James Sheridan and his chemist-friend, Ed Sopkac.
If you do a
side by side comparison of the labels you will think they are identical.
They are. Well, okay, one label is blue and white and the other is purple
and white but right down to the listed ingredients…they are the same. What is different about them (I’m told) is the proprietary
ingredients and the timing of these ingredients. Does timing mean cooking?
I don’t know. Does timing mean add the sodium before the copper? I don’t
know. It’s proprietary. That’s what I know….and that means we don’t get to
know.
To me,
that’s okay and it doesn’t matter as long as it works. I just want to
ensure that I’m taking the right ‘formula’ for my cancer. Protocel 23 is
currently priced out at 116.90 for a 4 week supply (every 5 hours around
the clock) and Protocel 50 is 149.00 for a 6 week supply (every 6 hours
around the clock) I would say cost wise…it’s the same.
Health wise
there is a difference.
I began my journey
with Protocel 23 because my recurrence was breast cancer cells in other
parts of my body and that was the recommended formula for breast cancer.
However, I changed over to Protocel 50 after 6 months. Why? I was
inpatient. Plus, there used to be documentation that Protocel 50 could be
more effective for metastatic disease…I had metastatic disease, so it made
sense to me and I made the switch. At that time, I felt that Protocel 50
took me to NED (No Evidence of Disease) and I still believe today that formula
50 was responsible for that last sprint to success.
My
maintenance Protocol dosing during that radical remission period from 2012
through to 2016 was always with Protocel 50. Always.
When I got
the news the beast was back, I began power dosing Protocel 50 like
crazy…but it wasn’t the same and I didn’t seem to be responding to it like
I had before. Plus, it was very expensive taking ½ tsp every 4-5 hours. I
was going through a 6 week supply in 3 weeks. I went on a drug holiday
(fondly now referred to the ‘screw it I’m tired of this bullshit, and I’m
done now phase’) where I stopped everything. I was spiraling downward and I
needed another miracle!
To learn more about which
formula for which cancer is best, I will refer you to ‘Outsmart Your
Cancer’ by Tanya Harter Pierce. This book was my first introduction to
Protocel and she has 4 full sections devoted to the formula. You can also
download just the Protocel chapters, or her whole publication from her
website.
I encourage you to check her out http://wwwww.outsmartyourcancer.com and we can pick up this
story where we left off tomorrow. It is a series after all!

Variances Part Deux
Last summer,
my sweet baby granddaughter was born and what a blessing she is! Yesterday,
I pointed out that this was the time I had just finished a 1 month drug
holiday off of Protocel 50 (with the hopes of jump starting my metabolism)
and was back on the juice full force! Holding this beautiful legacy in my
arms just strengthened me with the Love of Christ and His plan for us.
Later that
week, I drove 3 hours to meet-up with some old friends and stay for a
couple of days. I don’t know how or why, but as I was pulling up to my
destination, I became panic stricken with the realization that I forgot to
bring my Protocel on this road trip! I think all the blood must have
drained from my face in that visceral moment. What a horrible sinking
feeling.
Now don’t forget, I was
completely motivated to stay on the compliance train full-steam ahead so
this is totally outside my understanding...except I can’t depend on my own
understanding!! Had I realized I was protoceless
anytime during my ride, I most certainly would have turned around and went
back and got it…and for someone who thinks a lot about Protocel…it’s odd
that the thought never once entered my mind.
Well, it just so happened
that my bestie, had a big ol’ bottle (16oz) of Protocel 23 in her cupboard
from a few years ago. (Protocel doesn’t expire! Whoohoo!)
I didn’t care that it wasn’t formula 50, (what I had left behind) I was
just so happy to have Protocel period! I was able to pick up right where I
left off…but this time with amazing results! I started lysing like I was a
kid again!
Today, 8
months later, the chest wall lesions have mostly dried up and only the
marble remains. Since Protocel 23 is the formula that has the best results
with breast cancer (any kind of breast cancer by the way…genetic, triple
negative or hormone fueled) I’m sticking with that and will order nothing
but 23 from this point forward.
If you hear
just one thing today… please let it be that whatever formula is recommended
for the type of cancer you have (regardless if it metastasized or not) go
with that recommendation.
Oh and interestingly enough,
I’m still navigating through a cluster of insurance whoas
that are preventing me from burning the marble until sometime next month…
But doesn’t that just make you kind of stop and think about this particular
chain of events? Pretty big coincidence that the day I decide to go forward
with radiation, suddenly I have a 4 week insurance postponement? Hmmmmm
Maybe I’m
just supposed to let Jesus take the wheel?

direct your paths.

Lenten Series: 3.15.2018 Power
Dosing
Another
oldie but goodie that I scraped from my official ‘beatingcancerwithoutbreakingasweat’
website and with perfect timing what with all this talk about formulas and
power dosing et all. I like this particular entry because it shows us that
lysing is as individual to each person as their cancer is.
When I first
tried power dosing 6 years ago, a lymph node in my left armpit would become
red, hot and swollen but would resolve after 24 hours. This has always
been, from that point on, my chief indicator that power dosing is doing its
thing. I now know how to safely take it just so far before knowing when to
pull back…which typically for me is only a couple of days.
________________
Power Dosing: Originally
written on 4.22.2012
I just
opened a brand new bottle of Protocel last night. That makes an 8oz (93.00)
bottle lasting exactly a month, even with the short stint of power dosing.
(Far cry over 7K eh?)
Remember last week, I had thought I would attempt to power dose a bit and
see what happened. I increased my dose to between 1/3 and 1/2 tsp. around
the clock. I started this on the 15th but had to decrease my dose back to
the ¼ tsp by the 17th. I think I was lysing too fast because I developed a
swollen painful node under my left arm. I immediately switched out to
non-restrictive clothing (no bra) no shaving, no deodorant/antiperspirant
and increased my jumping on the trampoline. I also took long hot showers
and applying heat and gentle massage to the area. This was all successful
and the swollen node resolved within 24 hours.
I believe
that the increased speed of collecting the lysed material got my lymph
track backed up like a bottle necked traffic jam. I couldn't get it to
drain quickly enough. Increasing my activity and water intake (tap, bottle
and distilled) seems to be moving things along. I can actually feel my chest
wall draining!
So, I had
an argument with myself. What truly is the difference between tolerating a
painful/uncomfortable side effect of Protocel as compared to the many women
who endure horrible side effects from their treatments on a daily basis? Surely
I can handle a little more discomfort with mine if it is in fact speeding
me to a cure?
The literature based on the
results of Protocel promotes this treatment as a safe and methodical way of
killing cancer. It's not a cytotoxic fast acting dangerous poison. If my
cancer is lysing too fast and restricting an exit to leave my body, then I
could actually be doing more damage to an otherwise healthy system. This is
exactly what chemo does and what I'm trying to avoid! So, I will continue
the recommended daily dosage of ¼ tsp every 5 hours and respect the
process. Famous Last Words!

renewing of your mind.

Lenten Series 3.16.2018 Friday Lent Menu
Protocel
has some heavy metals…I’m sorry to say even one bad thing about the
formula, but it does. Look at the label and you will see…specifically
sodium, potassium and copper. This is even more of an incentive to respect
the slow methodical cancer killing process and follow the recommended
Protocel dosage schedule.
The human body’s internal
sodium-potassium pump keeps a very delicate balance within the
cardiovascular system. Seriously…the margin for error (high or low) is very
very narrow. So, not only have I been overtaxing
my pump to stay within normal limits, I’m adding all these high cholesterol
foods that I have okayed myself to eat because they’re sugar free and low
on Vitamin C. Well, let’s just say this has not been helping my heart over
the years. At all.
My most
recent PET scan showed some calcification surrounding my aorta like a band.
On the film, (or rather, my ride on the magic school bus) there appeared to
be a circle of white smoke hovering around it…almost like a cloud ring on a
mountain top. Doogie says if it around the aorta,
it’s most likely in the coronary arteries too. (copy that)
This is
discouraging. My father dropped dead of a heart attack at 54 and I was just
doing back flips that I made it alive to 55. Now I’m worried again but for
a different reason. Wouldn’t that just suck that after all this I end up
with a freaking heart attack? Oh the irony!
This
morning for breakfast, I had black coffee, a Metamucil packet and oatmeal.
For lunch I’ll have wilted spinach, feta cheese, triscuits
and olives. A handful of nuts for a snack and Water, water and more water.
For tonight, I’ll choke down some salmon (I hate salmon) but with a nice
glass of red wine. (Bonus!) Then, may I'll end my meal with another fiber
packet to soak up even more cholesterol. At least I suspect I’ll be full
(but for all the wrong reasons! Lol)
And this my
friends, is your Friday Lent menu for the whole day! Don’t
bother checking in next Friday, because it will probably just be just a
stupid whole wheat bread recipe anyway.
~Philippians 4:11-13 Not that I am speaking of being in
need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know
how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every
circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger,

Lenten Series 3.17.2018 Distance Travel Tips
I used to
stress over travel and how to transport my Protocel. Now, I do it the lazy
way. I order Protocel to be shipped to my destinations and I leave it there
for the next time!
However,
even the best laid plans can go awry, so I make sure I have a 10cc
essential oil bottle filled with Protocel that I can add 24 drops (1/4 tsp)
to any bottle of water in an emergency. A 10cc/ml bottle is good for
approx. 2 days’ worth of Protocel (in the event you had a cancelled flight
or lay-over etc.)
Another
bonus of leaving Protocel wherever I land, gives my family and friends an
opportunity to have Protocel on hand and available to anyone they know who
may need it asap! I always encourage those who store it for me to share it
in the spirit of James Sheridan who gave it away for free and that fills me
with God’s love to know that my laziness could be helping others too!
Happy
Trails!

plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps.

Lenten Series 3.18.2018 It is Well With My Soul
The following
song is an amazing story of faith and endurance in the face of unbelievable
loss and tragedy. With multiple iterations by different artists, and over
130 years old, it truly is one of the greatest hymns of the last century.
I hope you
will take a moment to watch this youtube video
that begins with the back-story and finishes out with the song complete
with lyrics.

Series: 3.19.2018 Medical Marijuana
Those who know
me from high school have a little joke circulating that if marijuana cures
cancer, I probably should have never got cancer in the first place. Ha. Ha.
However,
marijuana is now playing an important role in keeping cancers stable and
there are even folks out there who have had complete healing with this
ancient herb!
To make it
easy, I’m going to divide Pot into 3 categories.
·
THC – the
part of the plant that was fun during 'that 70’s show' and gets you high,
·
CBD – the
part of the plant with all the health benefits with none of the buzz, and
·
Hemp – a
root and close relative of cannabis (less than 0.3% THC) which has
essential immune boosting properties and doesn’t require a medical card for
purchase.
The doobie
days of THC are basically over because of the estrogenic properties of that
part of marijuana. I have estrogen/progesterone fueled cancer so I need to
stay away from all things hormonal…including Soy,THC and teenagers. (heh) Any THC is typically
reserved for relaxation and sleep needs and special occasions. For later
stage disease, this part of the plant can help with decreased appetite and
weight loss from cachexia (a fancy word for wasting away) and replace
opioid pain management. (And at that point, it won’t matter about the
estrogen.)
The Cannabidiol/CBD portion of the plant is a non
psychogenic and powerful tool in the medical marijuana revolution. Why?
It’s ability to suppress or inhibit Angiogenesis. (a
fancy word for the blood and nutrient supply the tumor creates for itself)
. If CBD is used to prevent the formation of these ‘tentacles’ and stop the
spread, imagine the winning combination paired with Protocel to take care
of the standalone tumors and clear the margins?
Hemp, on
the other hand, works to maintain our homeostasis (a fancy word for all for
our natural internal checks and balance systems) It also works
synergistically with Protocel to reduce the free radicals. You don’t need a
medical card for Hemp seed or extracts which can be ordered anywhere on the
internet. (I like Charlotte's Web Products that I can pick up locally at my
Naturopath or order online)
What’s next
for me? A tattoo? Lol My kids are probably thinking…Mom! You’re such a
rebel… lol It’s just time to not be afraid anymore. Weeds and seeds were
one of the first things God gave us to heal ourselves in 2000BC…why
wouldn’t we still listen to Him over 4000 years later?
~Genesis 1:12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb
yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in
itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Equinox!
Official Spring
Bulletin! It’s the Equinox! That time that happens only twice a year where
the day and the night are of equal length. It’s also a time of renewal and
rebirth for many!
I was re-reading my original
blog and I just realized I began Protocel on this exact day in 2012! WoW! What a lifetime ago. I didn’t even notice it was
the equinox back then…coincidence? I don’t think so!
The timing
of it all is so utterly liberating to me because I now realize that was the
moment God took control of my life and led me away from destruction (and
disease) and towards the light of his redeeming grace. I am so blessed to
have taken His direction on this path and will continue to follow Him to
wherever he will lead me next. (Amen)
May we all
experience the magic of today and harness the power of God's grace...and
thank you Jesus for His continued oversight and guidance!

is the LORD who sends the thunderstorms. He gives showers of rain to all

Series: 3.21.2018 Decision Making
When making
a big decision like embarking on an alternative cancer path…of course the
first thing to do is to pray about it. The second activity is usually to
make out a list of the ‘Pros and the Cons’. Once that is complete, you
evaluate the list and whichever column is longest – wins and you’ve got
your answer! So in that spirit, I went ahead and started one up for you!
But as I was making the list,
I realized that ALL of the pros can be the cons, and ALL of the cons can be
the pros!
…..Whoa…..
Actually, when you think
about it, why wouldn’t they be? Perspectives of good and bad are
interchangeable and relative to the events going on in a person’s life at
any given moment. This list may be a winner for me…but I can certainly
understand where someone else’s cons would outweigh my pros.
Only you
can decide if it’s right for you!
…………………..
PROS -+-CONS
…………………..
Slow–
methodical killing of cancer -+- Slow–methodical killing of cancer
No one knows you have cancer -+- No one knows you have cancer
Lysing -+- Lysing
You can work full time with no call offs -+- You can work full time with no

Sugar free lifestyle -+- Sugar free lifestyle
No juicing or vitamin supplements -+- No juicing or vitamin supplements
Saying no to other treatments -+- Saying no to other treatments
You get to live -+- You get to live
Now I don’t
mean to be a smart aleck with that last one, but there is a thread of truth
to it. I’ve said it before; cancer kills even when it doesn’t. Letting
cancer continue to eat away at your life [when it’s not even hungry] is
counterproductive and I encourage you to refuse to get stuck in that trap
of stinkin’ thinkin’.
Be positive, go forward in God’s light and look for His answers. (and don’t forget to live!)

going both now and forevermore

Lenten Series 3.22.2018 Auto Immune
Disorders
Protocel…it’s not just for
cancer!
Now please don’t read this as
“Protocel will fix everything!” That is not what I’m saying. Protocel is
NOT the cure-all/end-all/beat-all for many conditions like heart disease,
renal failure or even osteoporosis to name just a few.
Protocel
can however; offer a glimmer of hope for those disorders which may be
anaerobic in nature. Anaerobic respiration has a literal meaning of
‘life/breathing without oxygen’ or ‘that which relies on glucose (sugar) to
live’. When Protocel dials downs the voltage to these cells…it kills them
and the healthy oxygenated (aerobic) cells thrive without injury.
There are
also documented positive outcomes with various auto-immune disorders. What
is auto-immune? The simplest of definitions means your body is attacking
your own body. Oh my goodness! But…as a powerful antioxidant, Protocel
builds up the immune system which in turn sends out larger numbers of
T-cells (Read: Troops, supplies and reinforcements!) whose main purpose is
to Identify, recognize and defend!
Here are a
few auto-immune and anaerobic conditions where Protocel might be of some
help: (My own personal list items include prevention of the common cold and
hair growth)
Rheumatoid
Arthritis (not osteo)
Lupus
Multiple Sclerosis
HIV
HPV (warts)
Psoriasis
Crohn’s
Alopecia (hair loss)
If you
don’t know if your ailment could respond to Prayer and Protocel or not,
google it and find out what its primary food source is (sugar or oxygen)
and/or if it’s considered to be auto immune related or not. You could also
speak with any of the Naturopaths that are certified distributers of
Protocel at Vitamin Depot or WebND and they will
assist.
And
remember the prayer part really does work! Talk to Jesus, ask for His
guidance. He loves you and He wants to help! xoxo

that no one can shut

Lenten Series 3.23.2018 Stupid Whole Wheat
Dough Recipe
Stupid Whole Wheat Bread
Dough Recipe: (if you don’t get the ‘stupid’ reference, refer to last
Friday’s blog ;)
You’ll need a bread maker for
this but it is delicious. Also, whole wheat dough is really hard to work with
(no stretch) so you can switch out ½ cup of whole wheat flour for ½ cup of
white flour just to give it a little more elasticity.)
In this
order, add to your machine:
1 ¼ cups warm water
2 Tablespoons olive oil or vegetable oil
¼ Cup honey
3 ½ Cups Whole Wheat Flour or Organic whole wheat flour
1 ½ Teaspoons salt
1 Active Yeast Packet
Let it mix
in the bread maker on the dough setting and when it’s finished, transfer to
an oiled bowl and sit covered and allowed to rise a few more hours (4-6) at
room temperature.
On a
lightly floured surface, work your dough out and shape it as either a loaf
for baking, roll it out as a pizza crust or divide it in two for a bottom
and top layer of a chicken pot pie. It’s versatile that way! Just know it’s
a little harder to work with than regular white flour bread dough. Be
patient and it will be worth your wait!
~Psalm 81:16: But you would be fed with the finest of wheat;
with honey from the rock I would satisfy you.”

Lenten Series: 3.24.18 Shake Shake Shake
All
the goodness of Protocel is deep within the sediment…that’s why it’s very
important to shake-shake-shake the bottle before each and every dose.
You’re trying to get every last bit of residue that may be clinging to the
sides, bottom and mouth. Once you remove the cap....lean in for a gentle
listen….you will hear: scccchhhhhhhhhh. (It
bubbles ferociously!)
As
time goes on and you get past the point where the dropper no longer reaches
the formula (about ¼ of a bottle left) it’s time to re-order. This is the
point when you’re wasting valuable shaking/opening/pouring time because
once the fizz stops, you need to stop, put the cap on and start over.
This
is another reason I’m not an advocate of transferring ½ of bottle to
another container. You really have to know what you’re doing and you need
to be careful with the shaking and not disrupting the original ratios!

Series 3.26.2018 The Mainstream of
Cancer
I
have always tried to keep cancer separate from my life. Doesn’t that sound
ridiculous? I mean really…I have cancer, I’m trying to beat it (without
breaking a sweat) and I have a public blog. (right) I would say trying to
keep this part of me private is a little ridiculous…but yet it’s so easy to
do just that. Don’t talk, don’t tell, look healthy!
One
of the main selling points of a Prayer and Protocel lifestyle was that no
one had to know I was sick...and that’s all been well and good, except for
the covenant part. I am standing on the promises of God and I’m sharing His
miracle because that’s what He wants me to do. In order to do that, I can’t
keep part of me silent and part of me in the light. Jesus is the light.
But
there is a taboo about cancer that is undeniable. Who wants to be thought
of as riddled with disease? Seriously. Someone meets you for the first time
and starts googling around and finds this out about me right from the
get-go? Men, employers, loan officers…it doesn’t matter whose looking, what
matters is that opinions shift (quickly!) That should not be the first
impression people have of me…it’s just stereotypical discriminatory
bullshit.
The
good news is there is an emerging new face to cancer. The kind that isn’t
scary…the kind that doesn’t worry about not being alive to pay your
mortgage, show up to work or have a relationship…the kind that doesn’t
freak out over depleting your life savings on expensive treatments that
take your strength, your looks and your life.
‘Being
diagnosed’ is becoming so main-stream these days that almost everyone knows
at least someone who knows someone who have learned they have cancer. But,
as more and more folks share their testimony of starting Prayer and
Protocel immediately after they hear the C word...well the more accepted
(and dare I say ‘nonchalant’) attitude towards cancer our views may become
The
gentle cure is winning. Cancer is not killing me (and it doesn’t have to
kill you either!)
~Hebrews
6:11-12 11 But we passionately want each of you to demonstrate the same
eagerness for the fulfillment of your hope until the end, 12 so that you may
not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and perseverance
inherit the promises.

Series 3.27.2018 Status Update
Nope…I
haven’t had any radiation yet. I know you’re all wondering, but I’m still
convinced this insurance whiff has been part of His plan all along. Why
else would the marble be shrinking without having it burn it? It may not be
dissolving at warped speed but remember…Protocel is a slow- methodical way
to kill cancer. I have another 6 weeks before I can financially consider it
anyway…so thank you Gracious and Loving God for keeping me safe and showing Your way through all of this.
I
have another appointment with the Oncologist(s) sometime in the next month.
I don’t know if it’s necessary to see both of them…we’ll see. I’ll have to
inquire about the cash price. It might be worth paying out of pocket just
it to show them the miracle…they’re both young enough (and brilliant
enough) to see how well this is going. But do they have the foresight to
see it clearly? And then what if they do? I love that one line from a Sara
Bareilles song: “Show me how big your brave is”. (!)
Yes, the lump is still
there…but it’s not given me notice like it did a few months ago. It used to
throb and be positional depending on how I sat, laid or moved my arms. But
now…there is a whole lot of nothing going on back there. A visit to my
local Naturopath for acupuncture and confirmation that it’s ‘grossly
stable’ is all the official news I need until I see the ‘boys’ again. (I’m
not completely running with scissors! )

Lenten Series: 3.28.2018 I Saw the Sign
For most of the early 2000’s-2015 I lived in 2 houses right next-door to a
church I attended regularly. The church had a stained glass window on my
view side of Jesus praying at the rock of Gethsemane. I would gaze at this
beautiful artwork dozens of times a day. Sometimes, the church would forget
to turn the light off and the stain glass would glow all night long. I liked it and I would take pictures of it (see attached)
but I didn’t really understand the full meaning of it.
Looking back on that part of my life and the
fact that this was my daily backdrop? I had the literal writing on the wall
for 15 years and couldn’t even see it! The coincidence that we are in the
midst of Holy Week when I happened on this only impacts this ‘aha’ moment
even more profoundly.
I love the wisdom and knowledge that God
continues to bless me with…I may have lost of piece of myself during that
time, but I have gained so much more on this journey with Jesus and sharing
his miracle. Not only has He always been there...strengthening, guiding and
healing me, He fills me with great comfort, joy and clarity to do His will
as He intends it to be done.
~Matthew 26:36-38 36 Then Jesus went with
them to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to his disciples, “Sit here,
while I go over there and pray.” 37 And taking with him Peter and the two
sons of Zebedee, he began to be sorrowful and troubled. 38 Then he said to
them, “My soul is very sorrowful, even to death; remain here, and watch[a]
with me.”

Post Easter Update: 5.15.2018 Radiation
I met with the radiation oncologist on 5/2 who mapped out
the marble and prepped me for external radiation, and that was initial
dosed on the 7th and will continue for a few more sessions
throughout the month of May. It’s
not horrible. As a matter of fact, I
think it’s exactly everything he said it would be…well, except for the
sound. (But that’s where the power
of prayer comes in handy!) The
marble is shrinking, the skin is intact and I’m really hoping that this is
the last I’ll have to deal with that monster forever.
I’ll probably have another
scan next month to determine if I’m all clear. If the marble was truly the last of my
remaining disease, I am pretty certain I am on the path to another radical
remission and am very excited to get on with my life.
I’ll post my scan results
right here on this page when I get them.
My body is now supposed to recognize the antigens from the marble
that is currently being blasted into oblivion (I’m lysing like crazy too!)
and that should keep my cancer free from here on out. I will go forward in
faith and hope that Prayer and Protocel will be not just my answer but the
answer for many.
Please consider this entire
website as a work of faith, trust and obedience as well as a FREE how –to

killing cancer…It really does work….and you don’t have to take my word for

you Jesus!
